After thirty years Shaykh Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari struggled and studied in the holy land of Mecca, diligently studied, diligently demanding and diligent in charity, so that Sheikh Muhammad Arsyad al Banjari mastered in various fields of science and obtained his sanad-sanad. Sheikh Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari died at night Tuesday between evening and evening, 6th of Shawwal 1227 H (13 October 1812 M) and is buried in Kalampaian, Astambul District, Banjar Regency.One of the great karomahs from Sheikh Muhammad Arsyad Albanjari, viz his great work Sabilal Muhtadin Littafaqquh Fi Amriddin. Karomah that the greatness of a scholar is his great work which from the beginning to so on are still being studied.This book is hundreds of years old,but still is studied, not only in the Banjar area, but to remote areas in Indonesia. The fame of this book also goes to Malaysia, Fathani, Thailand, and Cambodia Brunei. It even became a treasure trove of libraries big in the Islamic world, like Mecca, Egypt, Turkey and Beirut.
